Insurance Carrier Initially Denies Claim
On November 11, 2023, our client was traveling on Dale Mabry Highway when another driver ran a red light and struck the driver’s side of his vehicle.
The investigating officer documented in the crash report that the other vehicle had run the red light. Despite this, the insurance carrier initially denied responsibility for our client’s claim.
Injuries and Treatment
Our client received medical treatment for injuries sustained in the collision, including spinal injections. The insurance carrier disputed both the extent of his injuries and the reasonableness and necessity of his medical treatment.
Litigation
After the parties were unable to resolve the claim, Harris Law Group filed a lawsuit on our client’s behalf and proceeded with litigation.
The defense took our client’s deposition, and the parties continued litigating the disputed liability and damages issues.
$49,500 Settlement
Harris Law Group ultimately obtained a $49,500 settlement out of the $50,000 in available insurance coverage for our client.
