I am so glad to finally leave review for Attorney Tom Harris after receiving a settlement for an accident caused by a careless driver and a local Sarasota business. I know most people never EVER want to have to think about having to hire an attorney, but after a my accident that required medical care, I didn’t know what to do next, and needed help to navigate the complicated insurance process and legalities of my claim. Luckily, by the advice of my family and while having no other choice due to the pain I was experiencing, I decided to look up attorneys in the Sarasota area. To be honest, I actually called 3 different law firms and either spoke to them or set an appointment over the the phone before agreeing to work with Tom. The few of the reasons I chose Tom over the other law firms are as follows: He was able to speak to me right away, I didn’t have to speak to a secretary or assistant, nor did I have to set an appointment days or a weeks out just to speak him about my case. He was always easy to communicate with and always responded to any questions I had right away, no matter what time of day. I felt he had a lot of experience and was well prepared to work on my case that was slightly more complicated than usual (as it involved 2 responsible parties/multiple insurers). He was friendly, personable, and validated my concerns/questions no matter how “stupid” I thought my questions were. He also had a proven track record of previous cases that were similar to mine and knew the ins/outs of the laws and regulations. After I agreed to work with him, he met and exceeded my exceptions I listed above and he did an amazing job always following up and communicating, even when I would forget to do so myself (sorry Tom). If you need a lawyer, consider hiring To, especially if you want one-on-one attention, true professionalism, and a history of good results, otherwise go with some big-name law office that just looks at you like another number. Although I hope neither myself or anyone else will require his services any time soon, I certainly would not hesitate to hire him again or recommended him to my friends and family.I truly appreciate Tom’s service and dedication to my case. Tom Harris is an incredibly intelligent and compassionate lawyer as well as a great person. I was in a terrible collision and was subsequently in horrible pain for almost 3 years. Tom, and his son Kyle, fought the insurance company and never gave up til he got them to do the right thing and I was better. They truly cared about me as a person, not just a client. If I could give any advice to anyone reading this it would to put that phone down and DON'T call that billboard/radio add number. Call Tom and Kyle Harris immediately!
